Hoogstraten Strawberries and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA) are joining forces for a unique collaboration that brings together taste, heritage and art. Two icons of Flemish quality – one renowned for its famous strawberries, the other for its famous works of art – are combining their strengths to surprise, connect and amaze the public.
Together, we are bringing the masterpiece ‘Strawberries and Champagne’ by Henri De Braekeleer back to life. Coöperatie Hoogstraten will be a full project partner for the restoration of this popular painting, and we are celebrating this with a special promotion: from spring to autumn 2026, the delicious Hoogstraten Strawberries will be packaged in art. Literally. Special punnets will boast various masterpieces from the KMSKA, just waiting to be collected.
And that’s not all: participants will have a chance to win an all-in city trip to Antwerp every month – including overnight stays at the historic 5-star Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp hotel, high tea in collaboration with Hoogstraten Strawberries ambassador Roger van Damme and dinner at the renowned museum restaurant Madonna. The prize naturally also includes delicious Hoogstraten Strawberries and a visit to the KMSKA.
